Romans 8: 28
‘And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose.’
I can easily rephrase this to say: all things work together for good to those who walk in obedience( for if you love God, you’ll obey His commandments)’, and to those who follow His leading for their lives into purpose. .
There’s no assurance of a good ending for those who obstinately continue in their own way and in their own sin, with no regard for the way and direction of the Father. . . for Christ did not come to offer us salvation on our own terms.
I pray that God helps us to live our lives in obedience to His every command and instruction, for that indeed is the path to life.
