Today is the first day of February and I feel like I should set the scene for the month by making some powerful declarations based on God’s word this morning. I hope you’ll join me in praying and speaking these over your month!
Thank you for this month O Lord. I declare that I arise and shine for my light is come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon me. I am radiant with the glory and brilliance of the Lord!
Though darkness may cover the earth, this is my testimony – “but the Lord rises upon me and His glory appears over me and my family”.
I praise You because nations are coming to my light and mighty kings are coming to see this radiance. My life shines and radiates your brilliance and all I do this month brings praise and glory to Jesus.
Thank you O Sovereign Lord, for you are my strength. You have made my feet like hinds feet, making sure that I can walk upon my high places. Every day this month will bring me word of your unfailing love.
This month I am taught of the Lord, my heart is humble before Him as He guides me in what is right and teaches me His ways. “For who is he that fears the Lord? He will instruct them in the ways He chooses. They will spend their days in prosperity and their descendants inherit the earth”. (Psalm 25:12)
I receive the grace to be faithful in all you have called me to do. None of the things you have committed to me will die in my hands. I receive the wisdom to make God honoring decisions and choices.
