Psalms 67:5
‘Let the people thank you, God! Let all the people thank you! (CEB)
Father, I just want to say thank You.
Thank You for 2013. We are pretty much at the end of it. Thank You for the gift of family, laughter, pain and tears. Thank You for being the rock I have leaned on thus far. Thank You for proving Yourself faithful every single time. Thank You for requests not answered, thank You for the challenges that have inspired growth.
Lord, all You do is beautiful. I still do not understand all Your purposes, and I still do not have all my requests answered, but I end this year convinced of the Father’s love for me. Your love is without measure, without bounds. I know that because You love me this much, my case file is ever before You. I am rest assured that You will never leave me, You’ll never abandon or tire of me. Thank You. I love most that You are dependable. That I can count on You every single day.
Thank you again for 2013. I could never buy or earn the days of my life. I’m particularly humbled by the many hours of joy you gifted me with this year. Wonderful creator, I join the works of your hands to declare that indeed, our God is great! He does great things!
I visited the sand dunes of the desert recently, and the sheer beauty of it all took my breath away. You are indeed awesome, most Holy Creator. The sights of nature were beautiful. The rolling hills of the dull orange colored sand blended in so perfectly with the blue sky. The sand dunes reminded me of rumpled satin bed sheets. They almost looked like someone had just slept in them!
Every day, we have new reasons to worship God. If only we would look for them and not be consumed by our cares and challenges. Maybe, we should devote the last few days of this year to doing just that. Finding new reasons everyday to worship and praise God. It would be a great idea to write them down, so we can look back and see how truly wonderful this our God is.
Thank You again and again and again. Thank You Lord
