Guys… I’ve got a new favourite habit for 2025, and I need to share it with you: Gratitude journaling!
Now, I’ve always been a journal girlie (is “journaler” a real word? Let’s roll with it). But I found myself constantly asking, but rarely pausing to reflect on all God had already done. Yes, I would say thank you to God, but I wasn’t truly soaking in gratitude. I wasn’t meditating on it, letting it shift my perspective or draw me deeper into God’s presence.
Enter: My Gratitude Journal by Brine Devotional
This little habit has been such a game-changer. I use a journal that prompts me to write down:
- Five things I’m grateful for today
- What I’m looking forward to tomorrow
- My Scripture for the day
Simple. Intentional. Powerful.
I usually wind down with it in bed, and y’all, it’s become such a peaceful little ritual. Like tucking my soul in for the night. It even has quarterly, and yearly gratitude reflections, so you can look back and see the goodness of God written all over your story. I’m telling you—it’s like spiritual highlight reels in ink.
And you know what I’m noticing? The more I practice gratitude, the more joy and peace I carry into each day. I’m less anxious. Less focused on what I lack. More tuned in to the blessings I already have.
So sis, get in on this! Let’s fill 2025 with intentional thanksgiving. Let’s make room in our prayers for stillness, gratitude, and joy in what God has already done. Let’s walk through those gates with thanksgiving and those courts with praise—like Psalm 100:4 says.
