Psalm 96:1
Contrary to what we may have been taught, God is not a boring God!
He loves newness and freshness! He gives us new mercies every morning! Fresh grace for each new day!
He’s a creative God and because we are made in His image, has bequeathed to us a measure of his creativity. Laziness keeps us from exploring.
God desires creative praise, a new song, different worship from you today. Put some thought into it. Do it differently, a lot differently. Get out of your comfort zone , express your self, think outside the box. This our God is totally deserving of our creativity and lots more.
Interestingly, i tried this out immediately after reading this scripture. As i spent time with God that morning, i asked the Holy Spirit to give me a new song to sing to the Father. . and He dropped a tune and words in my heart:
Í praise you Lord
For you are everything
You are everything
Lord, you are everything
I praise you Lord
For you are everything
You are everything

I’m sure the Spirit of God is ready to give you a new song to sing to the Father every time you come before Him. Such is the depth of intimacy possible with God.
