Isaiah 54:13
‘And all your children shall be taught by the Lord and obedient to His will, and great shall be the peace and undisturbed composure of your children’.
I recently heard some sad news about the daughter of a wonderful and popular preacher I’ve admired from a distance for so long. Immediately, my heart went out to the young lady. I pray that the Lord comforts and guides her through this difficult phase of her life, helping her make the right decisions.
It also turned my heart to my children and children of devoted believers every where. Lord, i pray that you will teach our children Your values, and make them obedient to Your will. Even when they are grown and we the parents are long gone, keep them focused on Your Will and Values. Give them peace and composure.
I’m aware that life on earth will get tougher and more challenging as the end of the age draws near. Let your peace keep and preserve our children. Let them not be swayed by the madness of their generation. Today its homosexuality and gay marriage, I shudder to think of what it will be tomorrow,
Hold them true to the things that please You, and let them pass these things to their own children. Show us how to raise godly seed that will in turn become godly generations unto You. Please be the God of our generations.
